PA Turnpike/I-95 Interchange Project
L.R. Kimball was awarded the first contract for construction inspection of the I-95 / I-276 Interchange connection of the new Northbound I-95 “Flyover” structure, which will connect I-95 Northbound to I-276 Eastbound.
L.R. Kimball was also awarded the second contract for construction inspection of the I-95 / I-276 Interchange connection. Section D20 will widen existing I-95 between Neshaminy Creek and existing I-276. The project will include construction of the new Southbound I-95 “flyover” structure, which will connect I-95 Southbound and I-276 Westbound. Existing I-95 north of the Turnpike will be re-designated as I-295 with new signing installed as part of this project. In order to provide sufficient room for the merging of the two roadways, Section D20 consists of widening and reconstruction of approximately 2 miles of existing I-95.
