Williamsport Regional Airport – Runway 9-27 Environmental Assessment
This project included the Surveying and Mapping, Geotechnical Investigations, Preliminary Design, Environmental Assessments, Permitting, and FAA Reimbursable Agreements for the improvements to the existing approaches to Runway 9-27 at the Williamsport Regional Airport. The overall project includes obstruction removal at both ends of the runway and a displacement of the Runway 27 threshold to alleviate obstruction issues with the Lycoming Valley Railroad. Ultimately, a new MALSR system will be installed for the new Runway 27 approach to meet Category I minimums.
