Ashby & Geddes, Law Office Relocation, Wilmington, DE
Ashby Geddes describes itself as “a team of self-starters who delight in our individual and collective success in addressing our clients’ problems and successfully resolving their litigation.” This culture of personal involvement and professional expertise became an important consideration in the interior design of the firm’s new offices. Beyond the opportunity to improve working efficiencies and create a new look. The focus was capturing and expressing the firm’s personality.
Natural light and a warm neutral color palette set the tone for a welcoming, comfortable feel upon entering the space. Three conference rooms surround the reception area, with one located on an exterior wall. Openness and transparency are achieved with interior glass walls, yet the privacy so important to discussing sensitive litigation is ensured. The cherry wood parquet floor and wood trim is beautiful, calming and comforting, and is complemented by accents of color that provide the perfect backdrop for artwork located in niches throughout the office.
The resulting space combines form, function and feeling to create an environment that enriches the flow of ideas and solutions, energizing those who work with or for the firm.
