		E9-1-1 Institute Honors Kimball VP   Kevin Murray, ENP, senior vice president, division manager of Kimball's Telecommunications and Technology Division, was recently honored as the 2007 Industry Professional of the Year by the E9-1-1 Institute. Murray leads the business unit at Kimball that has implemented 9-1-1 systems across the nation, including Centre, Blair, Cambria, and Allegheny Counties.  Mr. Murray plays a leading role in the 9-1-1 industry, not only for Kimball but also for outside groups.  He is the vice chairman of the 9-1-1 Industry Alliance, an organization that focuses on public policy issues surrounding 9-1-1, including adequate funding for 9-1-1 legislation.  Additionally, he is active in the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) and the National 9-1-1 Implementation Coordination Office. Gregory L. Rohde, executive director of the Institute said, "Kevin has been dedicated to emergency communications for more than 20 years.  He is admired and respected throughout the country for his dedication to his company and to the public policy issues surrounding 9-1-1.  The Institute is pleased to recognize his contributions."
