A Bedrock Reputation

New drilling technology and a shift in the competitive pricing of fuel resources has encouraged exploration and development firms to look for safe, effective ways to penetrate the natural gas formations and oil reserves and recover the assets within them. We have a bedrock reputation as oil and gas specialists, earned after providing consulting and engineering services to the industry for nearly 60 years. Through the decades, our industry leadership has been honed by our keen understanding of:

The Marcellus Shale Formation is Our Home Course

Our offices are strategically located all along the center of the Marcellus Shale “fairway”-shaped deposit as it doglegs from the Ohio/West Virginia border through Pennsylvania toward New York.

That gives our clients ready access to our collective, proprietary expertise related to the processes and plans of the energy industry. With the formation in our backyard, we maintain a special focus on Marcellus Shale opportunities.

Fueling the U.S.
The massive Marcellus Shale rock formation stretches under two-thirds of Pennsylvania, large portions of New York, West Virginia, Ohio and Virginia, and smaller sections of Tennessee, Maryland and Kentucky. Geoscientists recently estimated the formation holds as much as 500 trillion cubic feet of recoverable natural gas. That’s enough fuel to supply the entire United States for two years.

Improving K - 12 Security

For K-12 educators, facility directors and planners, school security for K-12 has become a critical issue as schools across the Country work to ensure they are prepared for any eventuality. Certainly all the appropriate actions and responses have not been formulated, but we can and we must be prepared as professionals to recommit to review and consider measures that can make a difference while permitting schools to retain the look of creative learning environments and not fortresses. At many contemporary K-12 facilities, security protocol for visitor access is in place at the school utilizing typical visual 'vetting' and subsequent manual... Read More
