Using GIS to Understand Diabetes
L.R. Kimball and the University of Pittsburgh Diabetic Institute partnered for a geographic analysis to help health care providers better understand the geographic factors that may influence the onset or progression of diabetes. The findings are helping to identify risk factors for diabetes and related complications in rural regions.
