Elk County has engaged L.R. Kimball to assist in developing a comprehensive county-wide stormwater management plan that meets the requirements of Pennsylvania Act 167 and that also helps ensure the health and safety of the county’s residents.

Purpose:

  • To protect and conserve ground waters and groundwater recharge areas.
This planning effort will assess the runoff conditions within designated watersheds and will develop stormwater management standards, criteria and other ordinance provisions for adoption by the municipalities within Elk County.
