Meet Thomas Fantacone, AIA, LEED AP

Thomas will lead our higher education practice and with him, he brings a broad range of architectural design credentials. His past experience includes design leadership for a planning, design and consulting firm in Somerset, NJ. His planning and design credentials for the college and university market include designing projects for numerous mid-Atlantic higher education institutions. He will be responsible for growing L.R. Kimball’s broad portfolio of projects.

Meet Jack King, AIA, LEED BD+C

Jack will be directly involved in our corrections practice as well as other architecture assignments. His resume includes more than 25 years of experience in management and design at a New Jersey-based planning, design and consulting firm with active architecture registrations in 14 states. Jack’s architecture project experience includes corrections, courthouse, office, hotel, higher education, K-12 education and retail facility projects across the East coast.

We are excited to add this level of talent to our architecture group. The experience brought to us by each of these professionals will not only add to our architecture leadership team, it will also increase our ability to provide hands-on service to clients in the New Jersey and Eastern PA regions.

For K-12 educators, facility directors and planners, school security for K-12 has become a critical issue as schools across the Country work to ensure they are prepared for any eventuality. Certainly all the appropriate actions and responses have not been formulated, but we can and we must be prepared as professionals to recommit to review and consider measures that can make a difference while permitting schools to retain the look of creative learning environments and not fortresses.
