L. Robert Kimball, PE, PLS
Founder
L. Robert Kimball founded the firm in 1953 as a two-person surveying and civil engineering firm. A registered professional engineer and president and CEO for nearly fifty years, Mr. Kimball led the firm through much growth to become the diverse architecture, engineering and communications technology company that it is today. Mr. Kimball continues to serve as a senior executive consultant and is responsible for strategic planning, business development and executive leadership. His personal attention to each project ensures client satisfaction.

R. Jeffrey Kimball, PE, PLS
President
R. Jeffrey Kimball began his career at L.R. Kimball in the surveying and mapping services group. Throughout his tenure he also worked on transportation, earth sciences, drilling, geotechnical and mining projects and led the administrative and support departments. In 1995, Jeff was appointed president. He is responsible for the management of the technical operating groups of L.R. Kimball and oversight of the quality of service provided to our clients. Utilizing his engineering experience, Jeff provides project review consulting services on many environmental, geotechnical, civil and hydraulic engineering projects and building systems projects.

Richard E. Genday, PE
Senior Vice President
Mr. Genday is senior vice president of transportation services and serves as the principal-in-charge of the firm’s transportation-related projects. With 28 years of experience on highway, bridge, airport and construction inspection projects, Rick leads a team of professionals that provide master planning, NEPA documentation (CE, EA, EIS), preliminary engineering, final design and construction inspection.

Adam S. Henger
Vice President
Mr. Henger is vice president of federal programs at L.R. Kimball. Adam uses his experience in programming and project management to lead contracting, proposal, financial, administrative and legal aspects of the firm’s federal projects. He has extensive knowledge and background on the requirements of federal projects and a proven expertise in delivery on more than 100 projects with $85 million in value total.

E. Jack Lerch, PE, PLS
Senior Vice President
Mr. Lerch is senior vice president and division manager of civil and environmental services. He is responsible for technical programming, administration and supervision of all civil, municipal and environmental projects. Jack’s more than 30 years of experience includes managing project teams in the areas of civil and environmental planning, design and construction projects, including water supply, distribution and treatment systems; wastewater treatment and collection infrastructure; residential and commercial land development; and environmental contracts.

Karen G. Maul
Vice President
With over 25 years experience in human resources management, Mrs. Maul is responsible for overseeing L.R. Kimball’s corporate human resource operations and leading the HR staff in talent management initiatives and activities that optimize how best to use people to achieve business results. She is well versed in strategic human resources, employment law, recruiting methodologies, leadership development, performance management, compensation, benefit administration, compensation, employee relations and engagement, and compliance. She is licensed by the Management Research Group for Strategic Leadership Development.

Joel V. McCamely, ENP
Senior Vice President
As senior vice president and division manager, Mr. McCamley is responsible for management and leadership of communications technology services. Daily, Joel provides executive oversight, project reviews, quality assurance evaluations, project management and technical assistance for the design, operation and implementation of telecommunications systems. Throughout his career, Joel has designed, developed and implemented database applications for large universities, national insurance companies and has extensive expertise in wireless E9-1-1 and Next Generation 9-1-1 systems being deployed across the country.

G. William Myers, PE, JD
Chief Legal Officer
As chief legal officer, Mr. Myers is involved in all aspects of the firm’s professional services. He combines his experience and knowledge in both engineering and law to assist the company in the areas of risk management, contract negotiation, human resources, regulatory compliance, project management, construction contract administration and dispute resolution. Bill has been employed by the firm since 1980 following four years of law school and four years of military service. He has been admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western and Central Districts of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
