Administrative Assistant

We have an immediate opening for an experienced administrative assistant to coordinate and support a variety of administrative functions at our Dallas Regional Office. The successful candidate will be well organized, possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to file and proofread correspondence, handle multiple tasks on a daily basis, and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with rapidly shifting priorities and workloads.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate work to support the successful delivery of our professional services

  • Set-up and maintain files, maintain logs and audit trails in compliance with established security procedures, track renewal dates for security clearances

  • Perform a variety of daily administrative functions within the Dallas office such as type, edit and proofread letters and correspondence as required

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and reports

  • Schedule meetings and conference bridge calls, maintain and prepare project files for archiving

  • Make travel arrangements such as hotel, airline, rental car

  • Answer phones in a professional manner

  • Assist in the processing of expense reports and check requests

  • Review Requests for Proposals for submission requirements and provide support to the Business

  • Development team to prepare response, gather or prepare documents and information necessary to meet submission requirements

  • Prepare and process incoming/outgoing mail and distribute appropriately

  • Order office supplies. Coordinate/arrange office repairs, maintenance service, pool vehicles maintenance by taking/picking up vehicles for service

  • Provide assistance to new hires that are assigned to your office

  • Provide support to market segments including huddle calls, taking of minutes, supplying of reports

  • Input data forwarded from business development and project teams into CRM database

  • Assist with the arrangements of special events, Set-up telephone extensions and security code for the Dallas office

  • Assure that standards and procedures in the Dallas office are followed

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will hold an associate’s degree, will have at least two to five years of experience as an administrative assistant, and will be proficient with Microsoft Office software. Additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of an associate’s degree.

Senior Technical Leader – GIS/Data Services
Various Office Locations

This position’s purpose is to provide daily technical supervision to members of the GIS/Data Services Group and assure that technical standards are met within the framework of established quality control/quality assurance guidelines.  It also assists Operations Manager and Project Managers with necessary project and staff issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate on project teams in an active production role that includes the quality review of deliverables within technical area

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to Project Managers and production staff for the achievement of project technical objectives

  • Assure, with assistance from Project Managers, that assigned staff executes projects in accordance with company policies and standards.  Verify that work is produced to the standards of the profession and in accordance with client requirements.

  • Responsible for establishing and updating discipline-specific quality control procedures and guidelines.

  • Work with Operations Team and Business Development Manager in developing annual marketing and sales plans for his/her discipline including: identification of existing and potential projects by client type and discipline; establishment of sales objectives; development of strategies/tactics to maintain existing clients and win new clients; identification and development of new markets.

  • Assume primary responsibility for training and professional development of technical staff to maintain competency, and work with the corporate training coordinator to find and schedule training events.

Defense Analyst - Communications

We are experiencing dynamic growth and have immediate openings for individuals who are forward thinkers with excellent research and analytical skills.  Candidate possesses a combination of analytical, task management, consulting, and writing skills for comprehensive assessments of telecommunication interoperability, staffing/manpower, organization, technology, and facilities for DOD clients.  Active secret security clearance is desirable.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Planning, analysis and coordination of major telecommunications projects.
  • Understanding of DOD C2, C3, and C4 communications systems and related networks.
  • Analyze system interoperability, mission capabilities and mission requirements to create capabilities based solutions.
  • Produce DOD and service level documents including briefings, decision briefings, reports, and other documents.
  • Conduct research and analysis at tactical, operational, and strategic levels to include unit/operator level interaction, major command HQ level, and service HQ level.

Qualifications:
Former Officers and Enlisted personnel (E-7/E-8/E-9) with bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required with at least 10 years experience in U.S. Army Signal Corps or U.S. Air Force Combat Communications and/or Theater Deployable Communications (TDC) systems.  Understanding of DOD tactical/deployable communications systems and related networks, applications and policies is a must.  Applicants must have excellent oral, writing, and interpersonal skills, and should preferably have experience in the operational employment, requirements development or delivery of DOD communications systems/programs.  Candidates must be self-disciplined, flexible, resourceful, possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.  Ability to travel or be on-call at least thirty percent of the time is a must.

DoD Project Manager
Vienna, VA

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the development and delivery of studies, analysis, strategies and plans to include testing and evaluation of related software applications of the Joint CONUS Communications Support Environment Program.  This position will also provide assistance to the division Federal Program Manager in the identification and development of other business opportunities in the DoD sector.  This position will manage larger, complex, high-profile Federal projects or high-priority client programs.  Active secret clearance is a plus.

Overview of Responsibilities: 

  • Establish a project plan & schedule between client, company technical and project personnel using PMI methodology
  • Develop and maintain detailed project scope statements (PSS) and work breakdown schedules (WBS) for DoD projects in Microsoft Project, or other client-required software
  • Oversee financial reporting to the division for all projects assigned to position, meeting defined budget goals, and complete project budget forms for bookings
  • Meet with clients, and coordinate with our business development staff to develop ongoing programs, and proposal statements of work for additional services
  • Prepare and input monthly backlog projections into financial accounting system.  Review and ensure completion of accounting functions to include billing, accounts receivables, work in progress and project closeouts

Technical Specialist - Wireless and RF

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering.  An associate’s degree, related experience, or military experience will also be considered. Five to ten years of relevant land mobile radio experience is required.  Familiarity with current Public Safety regulatory (FCC, FAA, etc.) and standards activities is a must. Strong background in: 9-1-1 dispatch communications, VHF/UHF and 700/800 MHz bands, analog and digital LMR radio systems, mobile data, 802.11, wi-fi, microwave, fiber optics, telephony, communications centers, data networks and information systems is required. FCC, PCIA, NARTE, NABER, EIT, PE. Applicants must have excellent verbal, writing, interpersonal skills and must be willing to travel.
