USACE – Philadelphia District
L.R. Kimball is leading a team of consultants providing support for photogrammetry and surveying services to the Philadelphia U.S. Army Corps District.
Additional services include providing a geotechnical drilling rig and manpower to install and construct permanent GPS mounting pedestals at four USACE dam sites throughout eastern Pennsylvania. These pedestals, once constructed, will be used to mount a Constantly Operating Reference Station (CORS) GPS antenna. Once up and running, this GPS base unit will gather satellite data for several days and will be incorporated into the USACE Virtual Reference System Network.
