7. What is your interview process?

L.R. Kimball’s interview process will typically start once our hiring staff has determined that an individual’s qualifications are in line with the position for which he/she has applied. The first step is a scheduled phone screening with one of our qualified hiring staff. If additional information is needed after the phone screening, a second may be scheduled. If the phone screening is successful, there may be a request for an in-person interview. Those interviews are usually conducted by two or more hiring authorities in one of our regional offices. After the in-person interview is completed successfully, the next step is for us to make a decision about whether or not to extend an offer of employment. Sometimes more than one in-person interview has to occur before a decision can be made. All candidates who interviewed will be informed of their status as soon as possible after a final decision is made.
