Architecture and Engineering PA DEP SOUTHEAST REGIONAL OFFICE Norristown, PA     This building achieved LEED® Gold Level certification in 2005.  The $12.5 million facility was built around an old railroad station located on a downtown site in the borough.  Green features include an exposed piping network and cistern located in a four-story atrium designed to collect rainwater that is used for flushing toilets and watering plants.  With increased day lighting and design features that significantly reduce energy consumption, the building will use 40 percent less energy and 83 percent less water than a conventionally built office building.
